Uganda Police Bangirana Godfrey forced out of office

The director of Engineering and Logistics in the Uganda Police force is set to honour High court orders that call for him to vacate office.

Business Detect has learnt that in accordance with the High Court order come Thursday AIGP Bangirana Godfrey will vacate office peacefully and hand it to his deputy known as Richard Edyek.

Godfrey was found illegally occupying the said office with no valid contract.

Political activist and an active member of Uganda Young Democrat Mr Isaac Maddo dragged Bangirana to court over occupying the said office illegally and asked court to pronounce its self over the same.

 Justice Henrietta Waloyo in her ruling barred AIGP Bangirana from drawing any salaries from the government until the conclusion of the main case.
