Uganda’s Finance Minister Hon Matia Kasaija has applauded president Museveni for taking off time his busy schedule and commissioned a state of art project at Uganda Industrial skills training and production centre in Namanve.
The newly commissioned centre will enhance technology & innovation & create more jobs for our young people. the Minister stated.
The centre was funded by the Chinese government which has increased its presence in the country taking part in various projects.
President Museveni in his address thanked the government of the People’s Republic of China and the Ugandan team led by Prof. Charles Kwesiga.
The Uganda Industrial Research Institute has an equipped and ready operationalization home in Namanve Industrial Area. Museveni noted.
Museveni was happy that with this new home, the dream towards industrialisation, import substitution, export promotion, technical Skilling of our youth to fill gaps in the job market, comes even closer in Uganda.
