Eddy Kenzo Musuuza is a self-confessed hustler who has taken himself from the ghetto to the very top of the African music scene. He was just three years old when his mother died, leaving him and his brother to fend for themselves. But a natural instinct to entertain led the teenage Kenzo on a career path that recently saw his image plastered on a billboard in New York’s Times Square – a giant manifestation of his position as an international superstar.
Eddy Kenzo is the kind of musician that wears his personality on his sleeve and portrays the fun and beautiful side of ordinary living in Uganda ,his videos have helped to turn some of the next generation of street kids into social media stars in different countries world wide and Infusing local sounds into the popular Afro-beat and Dancehall genres is what makes him stand out
Eddy is one of the All time Greatest and remembered Top African Talents (Artists) and amongst the stars in the beginning of this year he appeared number 9 on the list of the top ten African Artistes of the Decade (2009 – 2019),
He has opened doors for other Ugandan acts and his contribution to the growth and development of the industry can never be questioned where by
The list of Eddy Kenzo’s achievements can never be exhausted because as you make the list, he adds on another but if we can choose his greatest in the last decade, the 2015 BET Viewer’s Choice Award stands out.
In the recent years Eddy has quite released a number of Albums where by in 2014 he dropped the SITYA LOSS Album and following that in 2016 he released the ZERO TO HERO Album and on the 11th of August 2017 he dropped the BIOLOGY Album which was followed by the ROOTS Album in 2018 and by this time he’s making the final preparations onto the releasing of his Latest Album in a few time from now !! Well for that reason let’s all be alert and wait for the biggest Album ever yet to come out in no time 🔥
