Hossanna Coffee factory closed again over poor hygiene

Uganda National Bureau of standards has closed Mwinemugahe Company limited In Ndejje Lufuka over failing to meet standards of hygiene and resumption of production without authorization from UNBS.
According to a statement issued yesterday the Mwinemugahe Company Ltd was closed down by UNBS officials.
UNBS is the second time has closed down the Ndejje based company in Lufuka , in Makindye sebagabo in a month time.
The closed company produces coffee energy drinks branded Hosanna Coffee.
According to photographs seen by Business Detect Media ,photo show a messy floor and dirty on various Jerry cans carrying volumes of coffee.
Effort by Business Detect to get a comment from Mwinemugahe company management was unsuccessful.
However this week UNBS has embarked enforcement of high standards at various production company in terms of food stuffs.
It’s closed out Mega standard supermarket bakery over poor hygiene.
